The manual self centering chuck has high-qualified reversible jaws and cost-effective lathe welding grips. Such chuck is divided into short cylindrical chuck and short conical chuck according to the connection with the end of machine tool spindle. The short cylindrical chuck is generally connected through the transition disc, and the short cone chuck can be directly connected with the end of the machine tool spindle.
The short cone chuck of self-centering chuck hsa models like A1 and A2. Type A2 has better strength than A1 because it is connected with the outer ring thread at the end of the machine tool spindle. However, due to the limitation of the internal structure of the chuck, except for a small part, most can only use type A1, which can be connected with the inner ring thread at the end of the machine tool spindle. The taper hole of the short cone chuck is designed on the gland of the chuck and assembled with the chuck body with inner and outer screws to form a closed structure. Therefore, it has high centering accuracy, good rigidity and short suspension.
3 jaw chuck can be positioned for a full range of motion, ideal to clamp either round or cylindrical or various shaped objects on the turntables.
We are offering a few models to equip with welding positioners, with clamping range from 80mm to 1250mm.
